Here comes the new Imperial Captain model from GW!
Painted in classic bright imperial army colours, using acrylics, with true metallics. The model can be removed from the wooden block and has base of his own, so he’s completely playable.
Hope you like it, tell me what you think!
A new Witch Hunter from Games Workshop. Released Apr 2012 as a part of new Empire reinforcements!
I gave him more inquisitorial looks, he has more browns and is more palid compared to painting schema proposed by GW. He’s the grim character, who really eats witches for breakfast 😉
Painted using acrylic paints, with true metallics. Placed on a wooden block, from witch he can be removed and be used in play.
For anyone interested, I used some of the new GW paints here. New texture paint ‘Stirland Mud’ was used for the base and ‘Longbeard grey’ (‘Dry’ range) was used for base drybrushing and lining on the Witch Hunter’s black coat and hat. Quite a pleasure to work with those new paints, they do the job well.

This is my big Tyranid beast, finally painted! I used some acrylics plus oil paints. He has changeable (magnetized) arms, so you can easily attach Venom Cannon, Barbed Strangler or two talons.
I hope you like his looks!
